COSRX has stayed a bit under the radar on this blog and unrightfully so. I’ve been using this Korean brand religiously since early 2016 and it’s safe to say I’ve tried about 80% of the products they have launched since. You could say I’m a big fan of this minimal brand so it was about time for a review! One of their products that intrigued me from day one was their Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, which contains a whopping 96% of snail secretion! If the thought of snail mucin repulses you, hear me out…
Spring is the perfect moment for an afternoon tea party. The spring scene gracefully lends itself to a wonderful affair in a charming secret garden full of fresh, budding flowers. Think of tables strewn with flower petals, loaded with pastel cakes, gilded porcelain tea cups and abundant quantities of only the best tête-à-têtes. It’s an Essie tea party, and you’re invited!
On my wish list for the longest time and finally ready to review: the Benton Snail Bee High Content line. If the thought of snail secretion sounds disgusting, I’m here to break it to you: this ingredient changed my life for the better and I couldn’t imagine my skin care routine without it! The Snail Bee lines comes in a handful of products and I’ll be reviewing 3 of them today.
It’s been 5 years since Garnier released their Micellar Water that would forever erase my need to cross the border and stock up on the og Bioderma micellar cleansing water. At a fraction of the price, this easy-to-get-ahold-of cleansing water from Garnier would forever change the makeup removing routine of many.
Today, Garnier has released a lot of similar products and I will be investigating if any of them are worth the purchase or just me-too products. (Fyi: this is an actual marketing term, not to be confused with #metoo)
3 Times I’ve been to Japan. 3 Times I’ve stood at the duty free counter with the SKII Facial Treatment Essence in my hands and ended up leaving without it. Priced at € 150 for 150 ml, it’s just so expensive and I just couldn’t flash the cash after already buying a ton of stuff during each trip. Luckily there’s Missha to save the day with their own dupe that is three times less expensive; the Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Intensive (150 ml).
