As you might’ve noticed, I got back safe and sound from London with a suitcase that’s just a liiiittle overweight. #lalala.. I might’ve overdone it a bit, but what can I say? London is an amazing city, especially around the holidays and I can’t wait to go back! I’ll be posting some of the places I’ve visited next week or so and of course a shopping haul video if my equipment is cooperating.
Anyway, about the outfit: Monochrome has been a big thing all year and after all of my efforts to add a little more colour to my outfits, I thought it was time to treat myself and crawl back into my comfort zone on a Fall Sunday. Since monochrome is nothing but black and white, the only thing I could do was to mix fabrics and two very different styles. I mixed the casual striped loose-fitting tapered pants with a faux leather top which I fell in love with because of the cool mesh detail on both sides. So Alexander Wang! To not make it look all too casual and sporty, I added a chic blazer and some fine sophisticated sandals. The matte bright orange/red lip was a first for me and I felt a little uncomfortable wearing it, but I do think it just completes the outfit.
