Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask

Recently I’ve been quite hooked on the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight mask. Although this was one of my top products of 2014, I’ve never dedicated a post to this wonderful London find. One year later, despite my plea, you still can’t find Origins in Belgium, but it is pretty easy to find online and as we’re heading into winter you might need it sooner than you think.

If you tend to suffer from dry, flakey skin during winter you might want to look into this. The Origins Drink Up Intensive is an overnight replenishing mask with Plant Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Mango Butters and Japanese Seaweed. It’s recommended to use it twice a week or as desired by gently massaging it onto clean skin at bedtime and tissue off excess.

The mask is designed for dry and dehydrated skins and for the longest time I was convinced product like that wouldn’t work on my combination skin. Wrong. Whenever my skin looks like it could really need the moisture, I apply a thin layer of this insanely good smelling mask onto my face and give some extra attention to the drier areas (around the nose and cheeks). Works like a charm! This is also the kind of product I would recommend to take with you to combat the drying effects of recycled airplane air when on a holiday.

I’m happy I turned out to be one of the many people that really love this mask, because no one likes to spend too much on a dud product. I wouldn’t recommend this for very sensitive skin types as some of the ingredients may be irritating your skin. I’m prone to acne, but so far have never had any problems when using this mask. It’s really rich in texture, so I think the key is not to go overboard. A little really does go a long way.
