Today’s NOTD is a polish from the Catrice Big City Life collection; the yellow London nail polish. I didn’t get the connection between London and the yellow color or the fact that it was released during Autumn, but that didn’t stop me from buying this yellow shimmer shade. Fact is that this one is slightly lighter than Chanel’s Mimosa (more of a pastel yellow), but therefore not less pretty.
I’ve had big problems while painting my nails with this one. The texture is really light and syrupy at the same time, causing stripes to appear and making it too transparent in places, even when I applied 2 or 3 layers. It dries incredibly slow and chips fast. Overall I’m not pleased with this nail polish as I am with the Berlin make-up palette I got. If you were planning on getting this one, don’t. Catrice has better polishes than this one. Too bad because I really liked the color.
