La Garçonne

After an entire day of intense labor (read: shopping) in Antwerp, I spent my Sunday in chill mode. Sleeping until noon, planning my exam schedule, watching “Cowboys and Aliens” (which turned out to be more amusing than expected), admiring my new purchases and making some outfit pictures outside. Well, that didn’t last long since it was cold and really breezy. As a result, my hair was continuously in my face, making me look like some western Sadako (you know, the creepy girl from The Ring). Or maybe that would’ve been an improvement, lol! I hereby apologize for the bad quality of the pictures that were taken indoors.

My look of the day is another reference to the androgynous trend, but this time with feminine make-up, namely smokey eyes and a soft pink lip. I’d say it’s my modern version of Coco Chanel’s garçonne style. The color palette is rather sober (with only blacks and grays), but that is compensated by using layers of different fabrics, which create a totally different look.

Whenever I take outfit pics in my yard, there’s always a cat that comes along looking to be featured. Lol! Meet Tijger; 14 years old, life lover, sleepyhead, sunbather, part vampire, skinny even though his stomach seems to be bottomless, thinks he’s the boss, lost 3 of his 9 lives.
