May Favourites

May favourites time! I’ve been playing around with a lot of new & old high end products lately, which led me to this modest selection of luxury products. Even though they require some more €€€, they’re definitely worth it in my book.

Let’s start off with the Dior 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palette in 746 Ambre Nuit*, which is part of the gorgeous limited edition Tie Dye collection. This harmony of 5 warm orangy-brown shades reminds me of the sunset. Some shades work better than others but overall the end result is lovely and a perfect match for summer. I find the warm undertones complement blue eyes really well. Check out my post to see it in more detail.

The Rituals Mandi Lulur line is the best thing to lather yourself in this summer, so picking just one product was quite the task. In the end I opted for Rituals Mandi Lulur Bath Foam* because there’s nothing that can make you feel more zen than a long hot bath with the aroma of frangipani and rice milk. The Mandi Lulur scented candle is a recommended addition.

I’ve been suffering from some breakouts lately and really needed the best of the best to clear things up. Two times a week I would use the new Caudalie Purifing Mask* by leaving it onto my problem zones for 10 minutes before rinsing it off. Current status is almost zit-free again, so definitely two thumbs up for this one! I’ll be talking about some more of the new Caudalie masks very soon, so stay tuned!

Summer is slowly entering my skincare & makeup stash and one of the newest additions is the Guerlain Terracotta Sun Serum*. This one stimulates melamine production as well as hydrates in order for the tan to stay for a longer period of time. I mix 2 drops of this golden serum into my daily moisturizer and my pale skin is slowly becoming more radiant & tanned. For those who don’t have the patience and want to see immediate results, I’d recommend using the Clarins one though. For me, this is just perfect.

Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint in 01 Blondes* is another product who has been a total bae in helping me obtain a natural looking glow. This is perfect for those with really pale skin like mine that have a problem with most bronzers being too orange. This one is really subtle and yet has a noticeable difference. I’d repurchase this one again and again. Guarlain has proven to be the king/queen of bronzers yet again!

Totally unexpected, Lancôme Shine Lover lipstick in 212 Twisted Beige* landed a top spot in my most used lipsticks lately game. This nude looks so natural on the lips, both because of its gorgeous my-lips-but-better-colour as the shine it provides. Reapplying is necessary though, so keep this one at hand.

Last but not least is the blush palette everyone should own, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette! This one definitely lives up to the hype for me, I’ve been using it non-stop. Great pigmentation, nice natural-looking glow and gorgeous packaging, what more do you need? I’ve been wearing Mood Exposure the most, but now I’m leaning towards Luminous Flush as we’re approaching summer. Such lovely colours. So much love!

Those were my May Favourites! What have you been loving in May?
