Temperatures are rising, but there’ll be no excuses for those sweaty armpits. At least not as long Nivea’s around. They’ve recently released new pocket size editions of their 4 best selling deodorants so you can bring them everywhere you go to touch up. No matter what your sweaty needs are, Nivea’s got it covered.
Nivea Pocket Deo Fresh Natural is free of aluminium and contains ocean extracts for an intense fresh feeling. To avoid white marks on black clothing and yellow marks on white clothing, the Nivea Pocket Invisible For Black & White is your best bet. My absolute favourite out of the 4, and out of all spray deodorants, is the Nivea Pocket Stress Protect (blogged about the Stress Protect deodorant here). It offers a maximum of protection, even in stressful situations. People who sweat a lot or sudden should go for this one instantly. Lastly there’s the pink Nivea Pocket Pearl & Beauty anti-transpirant, enriched with pearl extracts for soft and smooth armpits. It’s said to be fit to use after epilation, but I have yet to take up on that challenge.
With content of 100 ml, these are smaller than the average Nivea deodorants, but also a lot larger than the minis I blogged about before. I’m not sure the minis will be discontinued or not, but I think this is about the right size to carry around and still have an amount that’s big enough to last for a while. The great thing about these is that they have twist caps, so you don’t have to be afraid they will leak in your bag.
I wouldn’t focus too much on the 48hr protection claim. The longevity will always depend on the temperature, your activities or perhaps even hormonal reactions. I find they last a decent time before I feel the need to reapply. Either way, I never feel grossed out, also because I use my beloved Louis Widmer Cream Deodorant in the morning and keep one of these in my bag to touch up if I have to. Deodorants aren’t exactly the sexiest topic to talk about, but it’s one of those products everyone uses and it’s not always easy to find one that fits for you. If I were to recommend one of these deodorants, it would be Stress Protect. All the way!
