Lookiss by Di + Physicians Formula now in Belgium

Beauty lovers and makeup aficionados rejoice, Di just opened another cosmetic mecca in the city centre of Leuven and it looks fab! LooKiss by Di is a new beauty store by the Di group that mainly focuses on makeup. There’s still some skin care (L’Oréal, Diadermine, Garnier,..) and body care (I love…, Roger & Gallet, …) to be found but it’s mostly the makeup brands that will do the tempting around here. Lookiss mostly offers makeup brands you’ll find at the regular Di stores like L’Oréal, Bourjois, Maybelline, Essie, Orly, UNE, Park Avenue, 2B, Elegant Touch, … but you’ll also be able to find some brands that are more difficult to find like The Balm, or a new exclusive range from the US; Physicians Formula!

Beauty liefhebbers en makeup aficionados worden extra verwend dit jaar. Di opende onlangs een nieuw cosmetisch mekka in het hartje van Leuven en het ziet er geweldig uit! LooKiss by DI is een nieuwe beautywinkel van de Di groep die zich puur focust op make-up. Je kunt er nog steeds wel wat skin care (L’Oréal, Diadermine, Garnier,…) en body care vinden (I love…, Roger & Gallet,…) maar het aanbod is beperkt in vergelijking met de Di winkels die we kennen. Qua merkaanbod verschilt de zaak ook niet zo heel veel met dat van Di. Je vindt er merken als L’Oréal, Bourjois, Maybelline, Essie, Orly, UNE, Park Avenue, 2B, Elegant Touch, … weliswaar met een ietwat uitgebreider en exclusiever gamma. Merken die hier de show stelen zijn The Balm (slechts in enkele Di winkels te verkrijgen) en een gloednieuw merk uit de US; Physicians Formula!

I’ve waited so long to try out this brand! Lookiss only offers a small range (would’ve loved to see the Nude Wear collection here) and it’s a little pricey, but definitely worth checking out whenever you’re in the neighborhood. I’m hoping to review some of these soon and give you guys some recommendations as well as mention products I’d rather skip.

Ik wacht hier al zo lang op! Lookiss biedt slechts een kleine selectie aan en het is ook best wel prijzig (meeste rond de 15 à 17 euro), maar het is zeker waard om even te bekijken als je op zoek bent naar iets nieuws en toevallig in de buurt bent. Ik hoop om snel enkele producten te kunnen reviews zodat ik wat aanbevelingen kan doen alsook welke producten je beter kunt laten liggen.

Another cool thing is that you can have your makeup done at one of the 2 makeup stands in the store for 20€. Afterwards you get a 20% discount on everything you buy.

Nog iets leuks is dat je bij Lookiss je make-up kunt laten doen voor €20, waarna je een voucher krijgt met 20% korting op alles wat je koopt.

Overall I think this drugstore is very pretty and totally worth a visit and I’m totally keeping my fingers crossed for them to open up shop in my neighborhood in the near future. I do think they should offer more exclusive brands to differentiate themselves from Di such as Soap&Glory, Sleek, NYX, RealTechniques, EOS, Milani, China Glaze, Ciaté,… and why not some Asian brands like Etude House, Tony Moly or Dolly Wink? Either way, I think they did a great job with Physicians Formula.

Ik vind Lookiss heel mooi en zeker een bezoekje waard en hoop dan ook dat ze zich snel in mijn buurt zullen nestelen. Verder hoop ik ook dat ze er nog wat exclusieve merken zullen aan toevoegen want voorlopig verschilt het aanbod nog te weinig met wat je in DI kunt vinden. Mijn suggesties; Soap&Glory, Sleek, NYX, RealTechniques, EOS, Milani, China Glaze, Ciaté en hé, waarom ook niet wat Aziatische merken (Etude House, Tony Moly, Dolly Wink,..)? Met Physicians Formula hebben ze in ieder geval al een mooi merk in huis gehaald.
