So many fragrances come out every year, but still I keep on going back to the same ones over and over. There’s just so much more behind a perfume than just the combination of its ingredients. It’s so personal because it creates an emotion which are often based on memories. One of the latest releases that caught my heart this way is ‘Flower in the Air’ by Kenzo

The fragrance is modern and light floral, created by Alberto Morillas. The top notes include fresh accords of raspberry and pink pepper. The heart includes dazzling rose, magnolia and gardenia, placed on the elegant white musk base.” – Fragrantica

Just look at how cute the bottle is! It’s so tiny and shaped like the top of a poppy flower. It looks entirely different from the original, which I also adore for its refined and elegant shape.

My mum has been a fan of the original Flower by Kenzo perfume since forever and somehow this modern version struck me as so warm and familiar, I just couldn’t help but fall for it. The reinterpretation of the icons of the perfume world is more suitable for a younger audience because its lighter and much sweeter than its original. It’s energetic, feminine and elegant. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of roses, but since its so subtle, I didn’t mind at all. Because it’s so light, I do find that it’s not that long lasting on me.

I’ve been wearing this one practically non-stop for the past months now and I’m still loving it! My mum goes crazy every time she catches me wearing it, so yes this is a winner!

I don’t know what to think of the bottle. Do I like it or do I dislike it? lol 🙂 The scent does sound lovely though.
