The moment a lot of us have been waiting for is finally here: the Forever 21 megastore in Antwerp has opened its doors! And by ‘mega’, I really mean ‘mega’, as in huuuuuge! 5000 m² divided over 3 floors to be exact. Seriously, if dinosaurs still existed, they’d shop there.. and be pretty fashionable too (FIY: I’m crazy). 0:-)
The best part of this store is maybe that it covers all the Forever 21 lines, which I believe will make men and the curvy ladies out there really happy! The styling possibilities here are endless, I’ll bet a lot of fashionista’s are going to spend a lot of hours in this store. At least I certainly am! Another great thing for people on a budget is that the store carries a lot of designer/brand imitations (F21 is kind of known for that). Beware, while prices might be cheap, it’s easy to go over budget while you’re shopping here. There’s just so much stuff and you might be carrying two shoppers full of stuff before you know it!
I didn’t take that many pics because I was too busy searching for good items all over the place, but these pics give you a little idea of how the shop looks like and what they have in store at the moment. I strongly advise you to go and check it out asap, because they have new items on a daily basis!
Oh and I got snapped by the official Forever 21 blog ‘The Skinny’ too. Take a look at it here .(I already changed to flats by then, the store was simply too big to walk around in heels for hours. So one word of advice: don’t wear high heels). Happy shopping!

Ik ben vanmiddag alweer terug gegaan, was al redelijk wat volk, en de Meir zag nu al vol van de knalgele zakken! Een ware aanwinst voor Antwerpen, als je ‘t mij vraagt.
Dat no heels-advies is zeeer juist! Ik was aan het einde van mijn shoppingtrip ZO moe van hysterisch te shoppen op hakken.. Forever21, slecht voor de portemonnee, goed voor de conditie 😉
Ziet er erg tof uit! Kan niet wachten tot zaterdag!

Jazeker! Voorlopig is het wel nog een klein aanbod, maar dat kan nog veranderen. Het is vooral de bedoeling dat je regelmatig teruggaat want op = op. Zo heb je minder kans dat iedereen met hetzelfde rondloopt, en je toch niet zo veel moet spenderen. Super toch? 🙂

I haven’t been there during opening hours, but during the press opening the noise was allright. It was nothing compared to when I visited an Abercrombie & Fitch store. I can only last maybe half an hour there, tops. I’m planning on going back to F21 next week, so I can’t just say I (dis)agree yet.
Ik heb de tijd nog niet gehad om binnen te springen, ben wel al in die van Brussel geweest, dus deze zal ongetwijfeld ook wel de moeite zijn, en nog groter! Kan niet wachten om te gaan!
