Ladies, I have a new handbag crush! Well, not entirely new. I already tweeted Essentiel would launch their own version of the Mulberry Alexa bag back in January, when I visited the Gallery 2020 trade fair. I couldn’t take pictures back then, but I’m glad I can finally show you what I was talking about! In addition to the Alexa, the Essentiel Baggy also has a cute fluffy fake fur tail keychain attached to it, which makes it extra fun. I wish they chose a different name for the bag though. ‘Baggy’ sounds so… baggy. The name doesn’t do any good for this ab fab bag!
Anyway, don’t they look pretty? I’ve been craving the Alexa ever since it came out, so no wonder I fell head over heels for this one too. The tan one was the only color sample available at the fair, which made me settle for that color in the beginning. But now I’m not so sure which one to pick. I just want them all! The price is pretty decent too, for €125 one of these babies is yours. Can’t wait ’til this hits the stores, if it’s not there already! I’d better go check soon!

Ja ik heb net hetzelfde. Zwart is altijd classy en past overal bij, maar vind de andere staarten leuker door hun kleurschakeringen. Tough choice.

I just went to Essentiel in Antwerp and boy was I disappointed. The bags in the store don’t really look like the bags in the picture. For example, there is no close-clasp on the flap of the bag. So sad! I really wanted one.

Inderdaad: ‘t is een mooie tas! Essentiel is dan ook een mooi merk natuurlijk 😉 Maar ‘k heb al ongeveer zo’n model in camelkleur van COS, dus ik zou ‘m toch niet kopen…
