Are you looking to buy a new fragrance but clueless what to choose once you enter the perfumery? Trust me, you’re not alone. I generally stick to the same fragrances within the same brands (mostly Giorgio Armani, Cacharel, Dior, Givenchy and Chloé) simply because after trying a couple of new scents on those fragrance papers my nose becomes numb and I just don’t know what to pick anymore. Samples can help, but have you noticed you often get the same ones over and over?

It’s hard to get to know what else is out there and there’s a lot I still need to try. Plus, lately I’m more into fragrances that not EVERYONE and their mother is wearing. It doesn’t have to be super expensive or super niche, it just has to be ‘ME’. I was so happy to discover the new fragrance from Trussardi in my mailbox a couple of months ago. It’s been awhile since I wore a romantic fragrance like that and it brought up some good teenage memories. I used to wear Cacharel’s Amor Amor and Ralph Lauren Romance all the time. Not that this is a teenage fragrance, it’s definitely mature but in a playful sweet way. Trussardi’s Delicate Rose can be described as “very feminine and energetic modern fragrance with sensual and elegant shades.” The chart below gives a better idea of how the scent was constructed.

Now the fragrance itself isn’t that unique, as is the case with a lot of fruity florals. There are a lot of EDT’s that resemble it a bit, but still it’s zesty freshness managed to charm its way into my daily routine. The scent is exactly as described; it has rose, but you’ll only catch a very delicate whiff, which makes it the perfect scent for a daytime date.

And as for the packaging: the shape is very elegant and refined, yet so simple, making it the perfect bathroom accessory. The main attraction here is its beautifully engraved bottle cap. I don’t like too much bling in there anyways.

Trussardi Delicate Rose is an EDT and it’s available in 30 ml (€ 39), 50 ml (€ 56) and 100 ml (€ 78). The range is also accompanied by a body lotion of 200 ml (€ 37). It’s available in most department stores, perfumeries and luxury drugstores.

This is bad but I actually focused more on your goooorgeous nail polish rather than on the perfume, haha 🙂 But this fragrance definitely sounds nice.

Haha I don’t blame you! I love the color as well. It’s Sunday Funday by Essie from the current limited edition summer collection 🙂 I don’t usually post regular NOTDs on the blog anymore because I don’t know if anyone’s interested? I do post them on Instagram from time to time. 😉
