Back From The Big Apple

So why NY? A visit to New York has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was little, I felt that magical city across the big pond was drawing me in for some reason. The big buildings and flashy billboards, the yellow cabs, the people, the vibe, the upbeat tempo, the energy.. there’s something about New York that can’t be found anywhere else. At the age of 26, I’m finally able to say I’ve experienced it first-hand and I can only hope this won’t be my last trip. There’s so many things I still need to see and do! Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing some places to eat, visit, shop and of course what I brought home with me. The photo gives you a little preview of what’s coming. So who’s excited?

Waarom NY? Een bezoek aan New York bleef al jaren onaangevinkt op mijn bucket list staan nu was het eindelijk van dat! Le moment suprème! New York heeft me altijd al geboeid. De grote gebouwen en flashy billboards, de gele taxis, de smeltkroes van culturen, de vibe, het snelle tempo, de energie… er is gewoon iets aan New York dat je nergens anders kunt vinden. Nu ik 26 ben heb ik het eindelijk ook zelf kunnen ervaren en ik kan alleen maar hopen dat dit niet mijn laatste bezoekje was. Er is zoveel te beleven! In de komende weken zal ik wat plaatsen delen waar je lekker kunt eten, leuke dingen kunt bezoeken, wat kunt shoppen en natuurlijk ook wat ik zelf voor moois mee naar huis gezeuld heb. In de foto krijg je alvast een mini preview.
