Antwerp Press Days I: a sneak peek at S/S12

Tired of the cold weather? This post will cheer you up! Check out what the brands have in store for us next season!I gotta be honest with you, the Antwerp press days were really crazy! I think I visited about 10 agencies that were located all over Antwerp in one day. The whole experience is somewhat like ‘Peking express’ really. Trying to get to your checkpoints on time while moving through the urban jungle and trying to make it out alive (so to speak). Luckily, I had a co-pilot by my side who helped me get home without a scratch. Thx, Hanne!

I had the best time; chatting with my co-bloggers and pr contacts again, having drinks and delicous bites, and on top of that; get to see the collections they have in store for us next season. Which by the way ended up making my wishlist a whole lot longer. Figures.. Anyway, enjoy the preview!

Anne Zellien was a wonderful new discovery for me. She uses vintage everyday tools like a swiss army knife and gives them a new life as jewellery. Perfect for those who are looking for fun and unique pieces!

Established Belgian brand Atelier 11 brings us another season of cute jewellery, of which the hummingbird and palm tree necklaces are my favorites.

Humanoid has an amazing collection coming up! I was really excited to show it to you, but unfortunately my pics turned out to be really blurry. I simply loved everything; the cuts and fabrics were fabulous. Can’t wait to do a post on this!

Loved these animal print sneakers by River Island. They reminded me a bit of the Isabel Marant ones (maybe that’s the reason).

On the left we have Urban Ears headphones with their ever cute color varieties and on the right newcomer Molami. The headband headphones are simply brilliant!

Sofie Claes is definitely a Belgian talent to watch. Her s/s12 collection looks kick-ass. Especially these 2 looks resemble the clothes you would see on heroine Milla Jovovich in a Resident Evil flick. Oh, and that functional handbag – do want!

After their own skincare line, Ici Paris XL now comes with a nail polish range by the name of ‘Only You‘. Quite cheesy if you ask me, and the font resembles the one from clothingbrand Only (Bestseller Group) a little too much. But, the colors do look nice, especially the bright shades on the left, which makes me really curious how they paint..

Annelies Timmermans re-released her signature bags in the most lovely spring colors. The clutch where you have to put your hand through is one of my favorite models. It looks both functional and elegant at the same time.

Steve Madden brings us color next season (and a new store)!  One of those booties on the left would make my feet very happy.

Because everyone should have some bling around their neck.. and especially when it’s cute. All by Swarovski.

Love these bright colored All Star sneakers by Converse for spring/summer! Especially the orange/pink ones from the renewed Marimekko collaboration look ab fab! <3

Rituals comes with new mini travel kits and their own travel perfume spray!

Oh Karin, you have put me under your spell once again! I die for these horoscopic and sea – inspired items. That horoscopic medal necklace is just buh-na-nas! All by Karin Nuñez de Fleurquin, aka my favorite Belgian jewellery designer!

Pretty new scarfs and choukas by Francis and Pi. They’ve expanded their range to more pouches, bracelets and other wannahaves.
