Today’s post isn’t really an outfitpost, but I’ve been dying for months to show you this Spirithood I got! Please don’t mind my worn out face since I’ve been fighting a bad cold all weekend and well, I also migh’ve stayed up a wee-bit too long playing Zelda Skyward Sword the night before too. Despite being sick, I had a great time shooting this with my dad who was acting stupid the entire time, hence the mixture of tired and funny pics. It gets worse, but I think it’s best I keep those stored on my hard drive :D.
Anyway, a couple of months ago I joined the Spirithoods tribe, a L.A.-based brand that sells handcrafted realistic plush hoods based on animals. From polar bears to leopards & wolves, Spirithoods has it covered. Also when purchasing a Spirithood with the Pro Blue logo, they donate 10% of the profits to a non-profit organization dedicated to helping that particular Spirit animal. How can anyone not support that, right?
I’ve been wanting to get an actual husky in like – forever, so the choice for this spirithood was easily made. While the animals stay the same throughout the collections, the fabric or print on the inside of the ears and paws may differ. My version for example has a dark blue denim fabric and one of the paws also has a -now-not-so-secret pocket. The fact that you can tie the paws together by using a little button makes this the perfect wintercold- resistant hood and scarf -in-one! The result is a funny, cute, cosy and warm winter accessory. Loves it! <3

You really should! I prefer the furs from Spirithood, they look much more realistic. It’s a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it! 😀
