Today’s NOTD is Crown Me Already!; a silver glitter polish from the Miss Universe collection by OPI that was released in September. Because of the glitter overdose, I find this polish to be a must for during the holidays. I particularly like the fact that the glitters come in different sizes, which adds a nice effect. Trust me, it looks even better IRL! Because the polish itself is transparent, it’s better to apply a minimum of 2 coats. The only downside to this polish is that it’s a real b*tch to remove! It took me 3 times with nail polish remover and I had to scratch the rest of the glitters off, which of course damaged the surface of my nails. If anyone has any tips on how to remove glitter nail polish easily, I’d love to hear about it!
I actually didn’t think I’d still be able to score this shade. I had visited plenty of Planet Parfum stores but this beauty was nowhere to be found. That was until I went to visit the new location of Beauty Queen in Ghent, aka nail polish heaven! Hereby a little word of advice; dear beauty lovers, if you ever happen to be in Ghent, this is your place to be!
