The Isabel Marant wedge sneaker is unmistakably thé musthave shoe of 2011. The shoes appeared all over the blogosphere and adorned the feet of many celebrities. They even became the stars of Beyoncé’s latest music video; ‘Love On Top‘. Unfortunately these beauties are sold out EVERYWHERE, so there’s nothing left to do than to sit and wait for the new batch; those of S/S 2012..
I did some digging around the internets and here’s what popped up: a complete new range of colorful sneakers for next spring.

I’m not as much as a fan as I was of the previous line that had more neutral colors (beige, grays, black..) and I’m kind of still hoping these are going to be in the permanent collection. I really feel like banging my head against the wall for not buying the beige ones when they were available at Net-a-Porter earlier this year. That is why I’ve decided to stop hesitating and get the beige/soft pink velcro ones (3rd pic) as soon as I get a phone call from one of the stores.

I’ already order a pair for the next season, the navy blue w/ mustard. The delivery starts on december till march but they don’t know wich one will arrive first. Then I have to be patient :o)
I’m not a big fan of the Isabel Marant sneakers (I dig the boots more 😉 ). But surprisingly I really like the dark ones with blue and burgundy..

Ik vind de onderste rij super mooi!! Ik Heb gwn trauma’s aan velcro volgens mij want de beige vind ik eigl super mooi maar zou ze nooit kopen door de velcro vandaar ga ik voor de veters. Zijn die ook van dit seizoen of vorig?

Dit zijn er van het nieuwe seizoen (lente/zomer/. De velcro vind ik juist zo leuk eraan, lekker retro 🙂

I’m not sure you’ll still be able to find them since most pairs are reserved for the people on the waiting lists. My advice is to contact every store in London (you can find a list here: http://www.thelabelfinder.com/storesearch/london/isabel-marant-stores/index.php/shop/city/38688/2643743 ) to see whether or not they’re expecting a second delivery of sneakers. Also make sure to check netaporter.com, mywardrobe.com and lagarconne.com on a daily basis to see when new pairs have arrived. Have yourself put on the waiting lists for next season while you’re at it, so you’ll be the first to receive the new ones when you’re all out of options for this season. I know it’s a bit of a hustle, but it’s definitely worth it! I hope you’ll find them! Good luck! 🙂
