Yesterday I had the opportunity to go and have a sneak peek at the new Forever 21 store in Brussels, which is opening it’s doors for the public tomorrow!
I’ve never been to a Forever 21 store before and I have to say I was completely blown away by the size of the store and how cheap the clothes actually are! From all the things I’ve picked up, none of it was over €25! It’s every student’s dream! When you enter the store, it’s just like entering Topshop on Oxford Street, you don’t know where to begin. The store is about 3.000 m² of pure shopping pleasure for women, so even when things are really cheap, it’s easy to make your bank account lose a digit or two.
There are different styles available, which you can use to create endless outfit combinations, from rock, preppy, romantic and bohemian to preppy or sportive. The store sells the Forever 21 clothing and accessory line, as well as the Heritage 1981 line and the Love 21 line.
Not part of the actual store but I had to post this because they we’re sooo goood! And the waiter was pretty cute too <3 Always a plus! 😉
What I also liked about the store is that there’s a broad space between the racks, making shopping much more pleasant when there are a lot of people, which is mostly the case in big cities. Americans are used to think ‘large’. Other shops could learn a thing or two from them.
Another thing that came to my attention is that practically everything is still spring/summer wear, so if you’re looking for items for upcoming season, you better avoid the shopping madness this Saturday and come back later. But, they do predict better weather next week, so it’s totally up to you! Oh, and sorry boys, it’s women’s clothes only. At least for now..

They’re planning on doing some great activities for the opening on Saturday. The first 500 visitors get a goodiebag, so it’s best to be there early. I also heard a rumor about the first 50 getting a voucher to spend in the store (not confirmed)! A dj will make sure you feel ‘forever 21’ during your shopping trip, there ‘ll be a rope-skipping team taking care of some serious action and you’ll get to pose for the lens of a Forever-21 photographer.

Jep, I have been a part preparing that whole store with clothes, it was a lot of work but it was fun 🙂 The store looks awesome now and the prices and clothes are amazing 😀

Ik ben vandaag geweest en ik vond het toch wel héél groot – en het lag er niet meer zo netjes bij als bij de opening 😉 Maar wel heeeeeel mooie kleren natuurlijk!
