One year after the launch of their first perfume, Liu Jo launched the ‘Scent of Liu Jo’ EDT for the modern city woman. I’ve always thought of Liu Jo as a young classy Italian brand with a big dose of cute chic. Think pink, gold, chains and diamonds. Now let that be exactly what this fragrance embodies. The bottle has a classic shape, only the gold chain embellishments and the little diamond charm has that Italian flair all over it.
The fragrance itself is fresh and sensual at first, thanks to green lemon, violet leaves and cardamom. After a while it transforms into a warm floral scent of lily of the valley, jasmine and fig. Lastly, the end notes give away a base of vanilla and musk, with accents of wood and sandalwood. Scent of Liu Jo is the perfect scent for everyday; delicate, sweet, fresh and girly. Nothing out of the ordinary though, but one I’ve been enjoying for the past couple of months.
