It’s been about two months since I bought my first two Catrice nail polishes, so it’s about time I did a NOTD post on the second one, 400 Blue Cara Ciao.
The color is a nice ocean blue, which is perfect for summer. It really comes to its right when it’s hit by the sunlight. When inside, it looks more like a turquoise-blue shade. When it’s one of those rainy days, I just look at my nails and picture myself on some tropical beach looking at the gorgeous blue ocean.
Another thing is that, while Catrice polishes might stay put on my fingernails, they certainly don’t on my toenails. I’ve worn the Meet Me on Coral Island nail polish a couple of times now and each time the nail polish on my big toe is gone by the end of the day. It’s not on my shoe, it just disappeared! Even when I let them dry for a whole day without wearing any shoes. So there budgetfanatics, even Catrice is not perfect! But then again, it does a great job for that little amount of money.

I agree! I have a slightly lighter shade of blue Catrice, called ‘up in the air’ and I think they do a great job for their price. But yeah that big toe nail.. it’s a tiny problem but easy to quickly solve with a coat on top :p (I know, that’s not very beauty-like but hey 🙂 )
