I’ve been waiting for this day for a loooong time, but they’re finally mine! I guess it’s either you love ’em or you hate ’em with this type of shoes, but for the sneaker fan inside me it was love at first sight.
I’ve been coveting the Isabel Marant high top sneakers for a couple of seasons now, but for that price it seemed wise to wait a while to see if I’d still like them or if I just got carried away by the hype. After I let the last pair of beige sneakers from f/w ’11 slip through my fingers on Net-a-Porter, I realised they were destined to be on my feet and I let my name be added to the -already- endless waiting lists for the spring/summer 2012 collection back in October.
When Icon (Brussels) suddenly called me yesterday evening to notify me that my pair had arrived, I was beyond ecstatic! I couldn’t sleep, ALL I could think about is the moment I would finally have them in my hands, or even better; on my feet. And now that I finally have them I feel like I’m on a high. I guess shoes can do that to a girl. 🙂
So what do you think?
I’m more of a boots and ballerinas kind of girl, but I’ve seen people rock sneakers so congrats on taking these home!

I bought mine at Icon in Brussels. You can find stores that sell IM via Labelfinder.com. Once you’ve found a store near you, it’s best to reserve your pair in advance. Delivery for the aw12 season is scheduled for June / July, so it’s best not to hesitate.
