Lush Sakura Bath Bomb

Nothing can help me relax more after a long day at work than some serious bath therapy. Lush is one of those brands that truly understands my needs when it comes to relaxing the mind, body and soul. Popping into Lush without buying something is therefore a really tough task. When I was in Barcelona last year with Kelly, I caved for this Sakura bath bomb. Now I don’t recall ever having bought a bath bomb this size before. It’s huge and it smells divine.

Lush describes this as follows:

“This is a celebration of spring in a bath bomb, bursting into a floral fragrance. Inspired by the cherry blossom in Japan, this pretty bomb is designed to evoke the burst of optimism the first sign of spring brings. We’ve used calming mimosa and jasmine oils complemented by lemon oil and orange flower to bring to mind the smell of this colourful season.”

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Fine Sea Salt, Lemon Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Gardenia Extract, Limonene, Lilial, pigments

When I came back from Barcelona, my entire luggage smelled like fresh Sakura, which gave me an idea. Why not keep this in my closet, so my clothes can smell like this all the time? #TIP And so I did. So yeah, eventually I haven’t used it yet, or at least not in a way it’s intended to. But at least my clothes smell really good, and that makes me happy too. I do plan on throwing this in the tub at one point though. Just not for now.
