In need of something completely foolproof to remove your makeup? Human + Kind’s no-nonsense Wash-Off Facial Cleanser is the one for the job. Now I’m not the person to swoon over the first brand that throws fancy names as “natural” at me, but I liked the idea so I gave it a try. Okay okay, the packaging helped too. Natural never looked this fun.
The Human + Kind Wash-Off Facial Cleanser promises to cleanse the skin, remove all traces of dirt, face and eye-makeup while the creamy formulation moisturises and replenishes skin of natural oils, softens wrinkles and recuces the ageing process. The cream formula indeed feels gentle on the skin and removes all traces of makeup quickly and efficiently with the help of the ultra soft free deep cleansing cloth that comes with the product. The moisturizing ingredients and exfoliating magic of the softest cleansing cloth ever make sure my skin never feels dehydrated after stripping it from all of the dirt.
A little look into the ingredients list shows why. This facial cleanser is jam packed with nothing but goodness for your skin. 98,5% of the ingredients are natural and the rest is naturally derived. The five first ingredients on the list are Aqua, Coco-Glucoside, Stearic Acid, Caprylic Triglyceride and Sucrose Stearate which means a good combo of cleansing agent, emollient, skin-repairing & moisturizing ingredients. Other active ingredients include Cocoa Seed Butter, Centella, Rosehip Oil, Calendula and Aloe Vera = more stuff your skin will love.
The only ingredients I don’t like -though in low quantities- are the parfum and Limonene, because they’re causing the minty sensation on the skin when the formula is applied, like you’re rubbing Vicks onto your face. I’m not a fan of the sensation and would not recommend to use this cleanser on or directly around your eyes.
The sensation of the ultra soft cleansing cloth toughing your face however, is divine. It’s re-useable and machine washable. This cloth alone is the reason why I would pick up another one of these cleansers, although you can buy them separately too ( a pack of 2 pieces for € 7). I need more!
Though I still love my DHC Cleansing Oil more because it’s more easy on the eyes (literally), this facial cleanser from Human + Kind has conquered a spot in my current daily routine. Even more so, it has piqued my interest to try more products of the Irish brand with Dutch roots. To be continued…
