The Holika Holika Naked Face Fitting BB is one of the K-beauty items I brought back from Japan. It was one of the Shin-Okubo (Koreatown in Tokyo) store clerks that brought this product to my attention. I did not need another BB cream, yet the simple matte glass bottle intrigued me and I really wanted to try a dewy formula. At the time those were pretty hard to find over here since all everyone could talk about was matte face, matte lips, matte everything. Thank god those days are behind us. Yay dewy skin!
The Holika Holika Naked Face Fitting BB cream comes in a classy glass bottle gold details which makes it look more expensive than it is. 2 Pumps gives me about enough product to cover my face and get the maximum coverage as possible. This is definitely a product with light coverage as it is meant to look like skin and fails at covering up my redness and blemishes.
A plus is definitely the amount of SPF (30) that comes with this product. I recommend to always use a sunscreen underneath, but this is a welcome feature for every spot you might have missed. I found that the best way to apply this is a brush and afterwards blend using a sponge, or just with your hands. Just using a brush will only cause streaks.
The finish of the Holika Holika Naked Face Fitting BB is definitely very dewy and it remains like that throughout the day. It never really settles down and feels very sticky. I have to be very careful not to have my hair stuck to my face or to touch my face. Even though I love the finish when I have just applied the product, it never really takes long before my oils starts to push through and it becomes one hot mess.
I think people with normal to dry skin will benefit more from this bb cream. People with combo skin might also enjoy it during the dry Winter season, but for me personally I don’t like it enough to repurchase or recommend it.
