‘Could it? Could it really be..?’ I thought when I first catched a glimpse of a pink glass stone in the shape of a cat head in the corner of my eye during the Antwerp press days. I practically died Rachel Zoe-style when it actually hit me that the collaboration between Hello Kitty and Swarovski is indeed a fact.
I remember I used to stare at those gorgeous glass Swarovski figurines my aunt had for hours when I was a kid. I was so fascinated with how beautifully sculpted they were and how the light that hit them amazingly turned into all colors of the rainbow. So I’m really excited to see the amazing craftmanship of Swarovski and the cuteness of Hello Kitty combined into one hell of a cute bling bling collection.
I’m particularly fond of the necklaces of the collection, especially the one with the pink bow if you want just a subtle hint to the franchise or the glass head, which is a little more obvious. What do you think? Any other Hello Kitty fans out there or a bit too cute for your taste?
I am all for the kawaii collaborations! Also love the HK x Vans sneakers and basically anything else with my best feline friend on it ^^ May be childish but I don’t care, I even wear HK ear muffs in winter 🙂 x
