Budget beauty lovers rejoice! I have a ton of drugstore news to share!

This Autumn you’ll have more choice than ever in your local drugstore since Kruidvat is expanding the Essence and Catrice range. Select Kruidvat stores will soon have 3 meter Essence and 2 meter Catrice displays, resulting in 5 meters of complete budget madness! All of the new products are listed on the websites of Essence & Catrice. All of the items marked with “available in selected stores” followed by the country’s flag are the products you’ll only find at the stores with the 3 m/ 2 m display.

The 3 stores in Belgium that already have the 2 meter Catrice displays are located in Deinze, Oudenaarde and Antwerp (Keyserlei). The rest will be rolled out in the upcoming weeks. Check the Catrice website here to see when and which Kruidvat stores will have the new displays. No news on the Essence locations yet, but I’ll keep you posted. If you’ve already spotted them in your drugstore, please comment down below. I already had a peek at the new Catrice displays a couple of weeks ago and boy, they look amazing! I picked up a couple of things you can expect to see on the site in the upcoming weeks. Don’t hesitate to request reviews/swatches for a particular product if you’re interested!

Di also has a few things in store for you. This November, Di will introduce a fairly new brand, Lollipops, in almost all of their stores. Lollipops was founded in 2009 by 2 French sisters who had previously worked for Guerlain. The line is developed in Italy and has the retro look and feel of Parisian boudoir style.

Unfortunately this also means we have to say goodbye to a brand; in this case Max Factor. All Max Factor make up is currently on a 1+1 discount (buy 1 get 1 free) at all Di stores until the end of September, so you better stock up on your favourite products. For me this would mostly be the False Lash Effect mascara’s, the Miracle Touch blusher and the Facefinity foundation. You can still get the brand at Kruidvat though, so it’s not completely gone. They even gave it a pretty new display to celebrate. (Those orange lights are terrible, sorry.)

And that’s not all folks, following the success of the new Lookiss makeup stores, Di will now also introduce Physicians Formula in their stores. For now only the stores in Esplanade & Hasselt will carry the line, but fingers crossed they’ll bring the American brand to other locations as well. Speaking of Lookiss, did you know they already have a second store in Rocourt, and that they now also sell the famous RealTechniques brushes?
