Event | Antwerp Press Days AW12 #2

Embark on a journey into the fashion future with the second picture report of the Antwerp AW12 Press Days! No new brands in today’s post, except for March 23, whose Pocahontas sneakers you’ve already seen in my sneaker post.  They’re even more awesome IRL! On the other hand we see a lot of relatively new brands that are ready to expand an conquer Belgium. COS for example, will be doing so by opening a second store in Antwerp. I can only hope they are going to continue their expansion and find their way to the western part of Belgium as well. The featured pieces in the racks are available right now.

Another collection I’m really excited about is the one from Atos Lombardini. The collection features all kinds of basics, but the truly interesting part is the choice of fabrics combined with the details, which are mostly studs = love. The color palette is what you would expect from a winter season; black, grays combined with a touch of nude, coral and kobalt. As far as the other collections go I notice there is actually a lot of color there; lots of ocher, burgundy, browns and orange shades. And of course a bit of metallics, sequins, studs, fake fur and pearls to glam it up a bit. And how cute and yummy are those candy inspired pieces by Malice and Eastpak?
