Cult Fave: DHC Cleansing Oil

Meet my latest cleansing love, coming straight from Japan. The DHC Deep Cleansing Oil has been a cult classic for many years, with 1 sold every 10 seconds worldwide, and now I finally got to try it too. A little sooner than expected though. I didn’t even need to go to Japan since Ici Paris XL now carries it in their online store.

As soon as I used it, I knew this was going to be love. The DHC Deep Cleansing Oil makeup remover completely dissolves all traces of dirt and cosmetics—even waterproof mascara and eyeliner—while nourishing the complexion with antioxidant-rich olive oil.

The packaging looks clean and simple and the pump dispenses just the right amount of product for 1 application. Using dry hands, you massage it onto your dry face, and it immediately does what its supposed to do. You can immediately feel the makeup is melting away. Add water and it transforms to a milky, vitamin-rich emulsion that rinses clean, leaving your skin feeling soft and nurtured; never dry or greasy. It’s also perfect for combination & oily skin types!

It just took one try and I’ve been hooked ever since. And yes, it’s definitely better than the Camomile Cleansing Oil from TBS I reviewed a while ago. You better be ready Japan, I’ll be stocking up!

DCH Cleansing Oil (70 ml – € 11, 50 / 200 ml – € 26)

I had no idea they sold DHC at IciParisXL. I just need a new cleansing oil as I’m almost running out of my TBS one. I might try this one instead! 😉 I really hope you’re having a blast in Japan! 😉
