Color Blocking

Here’s the outfit I wore for the Forever 21 Opening Party. I had my doubts about posting this, because the everlasting critic in me would do things differently now. But since I took the time to shoot this, so I might as well just post it.

I chose the color blocking trend for the party because I think it suits the colorful and playful image of Forever 21. I toned the bright colors down with some dark accessories, because wearing all colors of the rainbow in one outfit ain’t my style. Now it’s just the way I like it, a splash of color without going over the top. And I think the yellow and orange combo is one that can hardly go wrong.

In the end, I took another handbag with me to the party though, because I didn’t feel like holding a clutch the whole time.  This was my first color blocking outfit, I hope you like it!

Yellow top: Pepe Jeans — Orange skirt with zebra belt: River Island — Platform heels: Zara — Blue clutch bag: River Island — Silver necklace: Karin Nuñez de Fleurquin — Blue bracelet: Guess
Nails: Chanel Mimosa and Catrice Meet Me at Coral Island

i love seeing your long endless legs! the color blocking looks amazing because of the quirky skirt! the movement is insane and the length is just perfect! just a simple tee, but perfect! the shoes make it so a little bit more bold and rock and rolla! love the clutch because it looks fabulous with the shoes, but i know what you mean!
