Christmas Wish List 2014

stylelab beauty blog christmas 2014 wishlist

It’s here, it’s finally here! I just got back from the hospital and I’m so grateful I’ll be able to spend Christmas eve at home with my family. Perhaps this post is a little overdue, but I still wanted to share my wish list with you guys since you might get some inspiration for yours next year and frankly, I’m quite curious what’s on yours too.

2014 has been a year packed with new beauty stuff for me, so now I’m kind of figuring out what else I ‘need’ to make the collection complete instead of wanting to get more of the same. 2 Things came up: a lack of matte eye shadows and a lack of decent makeup brushes. The Urban Decay Naked Basics eye shadow palette seems like the perfect solution for the first problem. It’s a collection of 6 cool toned matte shadows with great pigmentation in a handy travel format. Second, I love my HEMA brushes, they’ve been with me for years, but now I’ve got the hang of using brushes and they start to lose bristles, it’s time to move on to something better. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Zoeva brushes and this rose gold brush set for eyes looks absolutely amazing. It contains 12 eye brushes with rose gold details and a pretty leather pouch.

Fashionwise I don’t have that much to wish for with the sales coming up, but the Rebecca Minkoff Moto Hudson bag has been on my wish list since forever. It seems like the perfect classic black mini satchel for when you don’t want to bring a lot of stuff with you, which I’ll admit do all the time when I’m wearing my other bags. So bummed I couldn’t find it when I was in New York earlier this year. Another thing I’m currently really into is classic watches. This Daniel Wellington watch with black leather wristband looks like the perfect addition to my collection. Simple, timeless & elegant = love.

I wouldn’t be a blogger if I didn’t add some tech into the mix. And what’s better than fashionable technology? These Frends Taylor headphones with rose gold details (again with the rose gold, can’t get enough of it) look absolutely stunning and ‘ll probably help me focus when working/blogging in public spaces.

Since I might move out soon, I’ve started to keep my eyes peeled for all things interior design. One of my biggest loves is Scandinavian design and this is where the gorgeous HAY tray table and HAY large marble tray come in. Minimalistic, yet beautiful and functional.

What do you wish to find under the tree this year?
