If you happened to be in Antwerp yesterday, you might’ve come across a bunch of ab fab guys ‘n gals from both the Belgian fashion- & beauty blogosphere. The reason I organised this whole event was to unite those 2 parts of the blogosphere, as well as the more experienced bloggers with the newbies. And it seemed that a lot of people more than happy to take part in the event. No less than 17 people showed up on a beautiful sunny day in the heart of Antwerp (lucky us)! The poor things had no idea what to expect when I met them in the gorgeous central station of Antwerp. *gna gna*
After a brief introduction at the lunch on a terrace of The Foodmaker, I told them I was going to take their fashion- & beautyknowledge to the test. I paired them up in groups of both fashion- & beautybloggers and handed them a quiz. Not just a quiz, but the ultimate bloggerchallenge quiz! They didn’t just have to know the answers to the questions, but they had to stroll through Antwerp to take pictures of the answers, which added the extra challenge. And boy, were they eager to win that goodiebag! While I’ve never noticed any competitiveness between them, there was now plenty! Within the groups everyone participated and helped eachother though, which was exactly the thing I had in mind. 😉
The question here was: “Thanks to this compact gadget, you can now take your favorite fragrance everywhere you go.” Ici Paris had a very strict ‘no photographs’ policy, but Stamatia just happened to carry the Ici Paris Travel Spray with her. Lucky! 🙂

The challenge also had a styling assignment. For this group, Jelka was styled by Sofie. A model styled by a real stylist is one hell of a killer combo! She looks absolutely gorgeous, well done!
After the challenge I had to check how many questions the groups had figured out. By my surpise, every group got 8 things wrong, so everything was depending on the styling assignment, which counted for 5 points. Everyone (except for me) got to vote, and the winner was Immi, so they’re the winners of the Bloggers Meet #1 challenge! Congratulations!

I would’ve loved to be able to give everyone a little something, but I only had 5 goodiebags to hand out, so better luck next time! The goodiebag had products and vouchers from Rituals, Pronails, Kiehl’s and River Island thanks to UPR and Oona PR agency.
After handing the goodiebags over, we went to do a little shopping, which was really hard if you’re with so many. Some went to pick out Steve Madden shoes with the vouchers (I forgot mine *doh*), we went to River Island, H&M and the beautybloggers went to M.A.C. Due to a little misunderstanding we lost them (sorry gals), so the fashionbloggers went to go and have a drink.

We concluded the day with a nice drink and dinner that took ages to get to us. Luckily we had a lot to talk and laugh about!
