Beauty | Beyoncé The Mrs. Carter Show

Today’s the day I’ve been anticipating for months. My all-time favorite R&B singer is in town for her Mrs Carter Show World Tour and I’m going to celebrate it together with my best friends. For me, Beyoncé brings out a feeling of nostalgia (I practically grew up listening to Destiny’s Child) combined with empowerment, inspiration and admiration. She’s one of the best singers out there, she’s drop dead gorgeous and a strong self-empowered woman. She usually doesn’t show that much of her private life, so when I saw her documentary a couple of months ago I was in awe! For those who haven’t seen it yet; I strongly recommend you to watch it (I posted a video down below).

My outfit for the evening? A fancy Queen B pop-art tee and some colorful Pepsi nails. Am I fangirling or what? With her angel voice, interesting outfit choices (hello nipple bodysuit) and catchy choreography it’s bound to be the perfect girls night out.

How to create the Pepsi nails:

1) Paint your nails white
2) When completely dry, take a little bit of blue nail polish on your brush and draw a wave (starting from the bottom left and ending almost at the upper right of the nail). Then color the lower part blue by making strokes downwards.
3) When completely dry, take a little bit of red nail polish on your brush and draw another wave (this time starting from the middle and working your way upwards to the upper right of the nail). Then color the upper part red by making strokes upwards.
4) Use a q-tip with nail polish remover to correct any mistakes on the surrounding skin.

Update: The concert has been cancelled for tonight. Beyoncé is apparently suffering from exhaustion and dehydration. There’s no news on a new date at this moment. Of course I’m disappointed, but health comes first. Get well soon, B!
