A Worthy Travel Companion

When it comes to packing beauty products on a holiday or trip, I’ll only bring essentials that are either travel sizes, samples or products that are almost empty. Liquids are always a challenge. Do I keep them in their original packaging or do I only bring a small container? How much do I need during the time I’m away? Will it leak? Those are the questions I’d rather not deal with and this little discovery has made the decision making process a lot easier.

French pharmacy brand La Roche-Posay came up with the Toleriane Ultra Makeup Remover. This gentle eye- & face makeup remover is highly recommended for people with intolerant & sensitive eyes and suitable for contact lens users (tested & approved) as it is fragrance & preservative free! It works like any other makeup remover by adding some product onto a cotton ball and press it onto the skin. No rubbing is necessary, only gentle wiping will do. It is however, not suitable for waterproof make-up, which is a bit of a shame. Ingredients include Sodium Hyaluronate and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water.

Besides the fact that it’s incredibly effective in removing your makeup, the biggest selling point for me would be the way it’s been packaged. The liquid eye- & face makeup remover is divided into 3 rows of 10 separate sample sized (5 ml) containers you can tear up, depending on the amount you’d like to bring. You don’t even need to bring extra capsules, as 5 ml is more than enough to remove your makeup at the end of the day. The only downside to this would be that it’s not that environmentally friendly, so I’d advise to only use this type of packaging when traveling.

The La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Makeup Remover is the most travel-friendly liquid makeup remover I’ve ever come across that was both effective and very gentle at the same time. I’d definitely repurchase it when I go on another trip. I’ll never have to worry about overpacking again! Is there a clothes option for this?
