Eleven Paris is a young urban streetwear label from Paris with strong rock and roll influences. Therefore it’s no surprise they picked the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and drummer Ash Stymest to star in their spring/summer 2011 campaign.
The collection is inspired by Californian skaters from the seventies and eighties, with its luxe sweats, super casual tailoring, soft jerseys and fine knits. A subtle re-interpretation of 1980s looks means dancefloor sweats are key for women, as are oversized T-shirts with slashed necks and low-dropping armholes. Stonewashed denim shorts and nude bodies underlined the 80s look but also contemporary punk and rock influences.
My favorite pieces of the collection are the fun photo print t-shirts featuring celebrities like Lady Gaga, Kanye West and the one with Kate Moss is my absolute number 1! I mean, it’s Kate Moss with a finger moustache! #wantsit!
