I usually don’t follow the trends (in terms of wearing it-items all the time) nor do I intentionally try to avoid them. But every once in awhile a trend pops up that just makes me fall head over heels. I’ve been looking for a bright colored staple item to take my winter wardrobe in another direction, since it mostly consists out of grey and black hues. When I spotted the first pastel pink coat of the season at Zara during my trip to Barcelona, I was sold on the spot.
The pink coats have graced the runways of many designers like Rochas and Céline, and now they have conquered the streets as well in tones that range from pastel pinks to bubblegums and hot pinks in various fabrics. There’s one rule however; if you’re planning on getting one, opt for a chic & minimalistic oversized version. Despite the color being all the rave right now, the shape will help you to enjoy this piece for many years to come.
