Trend | Phalanx Rings

Phalanx rings, midi rings, mid knuckle rings or mid finger rings. Call them whatever you want, I DIG! Forget huge knuckle rings, stacked rings or multiple-finger rings. Wearing thin, delicate rings mid-finger is the newest way to deck out your digits.

The idea is to wear the mid-finger ring on any of your fingers just as long as it sits between a third and half way down your finger or the phalanx. These tiny, elegant rings are a huge trend in Brazil (search for anéis de falange) and are slowly but steadily taking over the streets of NY and –what did you expect– the blogosphere.

SO. Are you eager to get these babies on your digits? Etsy is a good place to start looking! Check out: CatbirdMichelle Chang and Gabriela Artigas. Or just recycle some of your old ones that otherwise don’t fit you anymore. In the meantime I’ll be awaiting the arrival of some budget-friendly versions in European stores.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to comment. I think I might’ve been unclear in my writing. I’m well aware of the fact that a phalanx is a(ny) finger bone. Also, I didn’t name the rings/trend myself. It’s just one of the many names they go by.
