Store openings

Aah, how I love September. Forget school, September is the month of the new fashion collections! And  of new stores!   I have a feeling my wallet is not going to like this, especially since he’s still recovering from my London trip. I’ll post pics of what I bought later. Anyway, check out these new Belgian hotspots after the jump..

Our capital city has another designer store to add to its collection. Burberry is opening a store in the Waterloolaan in Brussels on September 1st. The store will offer the Burberry London, Burberry Brit, Burberry Prorsum and the Burburry Accessories line for both men and women.

From now on you can get your Eres bathing suits and lingerie at the new Eres store in Brussels. Did you know that Karl Lagerfeld is responsible for the fall campaign images? Well, that must mean something!

Massimo Dutti

Also Massimo Dutti has a store opening planned in Brussels. The Massimo Dutti flagshipstore is opening on September 15th.

Renaissance is the new name for Princess Blue and can be found in the previous Yohji Yamamoto store in the Nationalestraat in Antwerp. Princess Blue is known for its great collection of designer brands. Marc by Marc Jacobs, Acne, Victor & Rolf and Marc Philippe Coudeyre just to name a few.

Café Costume

The boys have yet another place to be to get a tailored suit. Café Costume just opened their 3rd shop in the Brabantdam in Ghent.

Rosier 41

This lovely second hand designer store opened its doors in Antwerp on August 16th. The concept: high fashion with a small price tag. Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Marni, Chloé, Maison Martin Margiela and Balenciaga can be found here.

River Island

Another store I cannot wait to see is the first Belgian River Island store on the Meir in Antwerp on September 4th.  River Island offers high fashion à la Topshop with a nicer price tag. A must-visit when you’re in Antwerp! I went there on Monday and as you can see, there’s still a lot of work to do. I hope the store can open on time!

Be Kult

And last but not least; Be Kult, one of my favorite streetwear stores has found a new home in the Brugsesteenweg in Roeselare. They offer collections for both men, women and now also teens and always have the hottest new brands first. New this year: French Connection, Lipsy London, Ash, Supertrash, Ted Baker, Paul & Joe Sister.. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in the neighbourhood!
