Last Wednesday I headed out on a shopping spree to Lille, one of my favorite shopping destinations near my home. I didn’t get that much -the day was just too short-, but I’m really happy with the stuff I got and since the sales aren’t that far away anymore it would be ridiculous to spend a lot (am I the only one who thinks so?). I’ve already made another wishlist in my mind and I can’t wait to go back.
My goal for the day was to add stuff to my closet I didn’t already have, which basically is just adding more color to it. And as far as the beauty department goes, buy some basic products that’ll get me through the summer.
1. Maje -one of my favorite French brands- had this lovely red skinny jeans that fit my booty perfectly. Zara has a lot of great colors as well, but for some reason they just don’t fit me. I guess the right fit comes with a price (€ 140).
2. Another item I scratched off of my Mint wishlist. These Converse sneakers were a bit cheaper than in Belgium, so the choice was easily made. I just love their new ss colors!
3. Some Sephora makeup and nail essentials. I’ve read a lot of great stuff about the nail polish remover. Can’t wait to try it out!
4. I needed a new foundation since my skin will be a bit darker during the summer and I was curious to try out the Bobbi Brown range. This one’s meant to offer little coverage and is said to even out the skintone -matify the greasy areas and hydrate the dry parts.
5. I was curious about this Bobbi Brown concealer kit ever since the press presentation. Dark circles, be gone!
6. After a demonstration in the Brussels store, it was clear the concealer kit works the best when you use this hydrating eye cream underneath, making the fine lines less visible and keeping the concealer from gathering in these lines.
7. At the Galeries Lafayette Bobbi Brown counter (which carries more products and is cheaper than Sephora) I bought this Long-Wear Look kit, containing a dark brown eyeshadow, black gel eye liner, a brush and a mini cleansing oil. I’ve been meaning to buy a gel liner anyway, so when I discovered I could get the whole package for € 48, it was a done deal.

Is bobbi brown echt veel goedkoper in Lille?

Ik denk dat de prijs hetzelfde is in België. Ik bedoelde dat de Bobbi Brown producten in de Sephora in Lille duurder zijn dan diezelfde producten bij de Bobbi Brown corner in Galeries Lafayette (Lille). Voor de concealer kit scheelde het zelfs 8 à 9 euro (helaas had ik de producten al bij Sephora gekocht 🙁 )
wow dat is echt wel veel meer! Ga ik zeker onthouden (ik ga naar Lille midden mei)!

Daaaaamn jaloers op de Bobbi Brown spullen! Ik moet dringend ook nog es naar Lille gaan en stoppen met zeggen dat ik dat dringend nog es moet doen en tot actie overgaan :p x
Mooie broek en sneakers! Lille is voor mij eigenlijk ook nog niet zo ver, raad je het aan om te gaan shoppen daar? Vergelijkbaar met Gent of leuker?
Ik heb die nagellakremover in Krakau in Sephora vastgehad en uiteindelijk toch niet meegenomen, ben benieuwd naar een extra review hierover.

Definitely leuker! Er zijn gewoon veel meer winkels. Enerzijds de zaken die je ook in Gent vind, maar dan groter en ze hebben sneller koopjes dan in België. En anderzijds heb je de Franse merken die nog niet (of op een vestiging in Antwerpen/Bxl na) in België te vinden zijn. Ik heb wat foto’s genomen van winkels die ik nog zal posten en ik denk er eventueel ook aan om eens met een paar bloggers een dagje naar ginder te trekken.

De Allstars zijn heerlijk, kreeg ze onlangs ook. & die kleur broek ziet er super uit! Ben benieuwd naar outfitje. Geniet van je zondag!
