SAMPAR Beauty Hunt

Two weeks ago I was invited to go beautyhunting in Brussels with SAMPAR. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but it sounded like fun and I’ve been eyeing the Parisian beautybrand ever since I saw it at the PURE press days, so I applied to join the hunt.

The afternoon started off with a lovely dessert at Midi Station. If this is what heaven tastes like, it tastes bittersweet!

Patrick Sounigo, the founder of SAMPAR, was also present to tell us a little bit more about the world of SAMPAR. Afterwards, we were divided into several groups to hit the city. My fabulous group consisted of Dorothée, Laura and Marie. All we got was a folder with the assignments, a subway map and a subway ticket. The rest was up to us. Luckily Marie and Dorothée knew Brussels pretty well.

Our assignments were to travel to 4 Planet Parfum stores in different locations, answer a question regarding those places and take a group pic according to the theme of the assignment. The assignments were each linked to one part of the lifestyle of the SAMPAR city girl. Here are the group pics we took:

At each Planet Parfum store, a member of the Sampar team gave a little demonstration of 4 products of the huge SAMPAR range: the Glamour Shot, Equalizing Foam Peel, Eye Rule (Merveilleux yeux Roll-On) and 3 Day Weekend (Hâlé Simple 24/24). Can I haz it all pliz?

After the beautyhunt was over, we gathered in the Pixel Bar (pic courtesy of Afrodite). The walls are covered with almost 8.000 cushions in different colors, which together create the image of a landscape.

In the end, our group turned out to be the best beautyhunters, so we won a Goodweekend kit with 5 samples inside. I also received the Glamour Shot. You can expect a review of that in the near future!
