Regent Tweet London

Last Saturday I got the chance to attend the Regent Tweet event in London, which was my first bloggers event abroad! Yaaay! The day started really early for me, since I had to get up at 4h30 to get my train. I’m not a morning person AT ALL, but hey, you have to make some sacrifices sometimes right?

A nice breakfast and some fashion magazines on the Eurostar train to prepare us for the busy day. And all of that in first class baby, talk about being spoiled!

The welcome committee from Regent Tweet (Regent Street and Sister PR) was awaiting us when we arrived at St. Pancras Station.

We took the subway to Picadilly Circus. Riding the subway is always a challenging experience.

The neonlight billboards of Picadilly Circus are one of the many famous tourist attractions London has to offer. Here I’m still holding onto my precious camera. Little did I know I’d lose it about an hour later. Thanks to Lisha & Nini for helping me find it, because I was about to get a heart attack! Luckily the ladies of the basecamp found it and held onto it for me. TY so much!

Our first stop of the day; the Swarovski Crystallized store, which was also our ‘basecamp’ during the event. Loved the design chair that was fully covered in Swarovski crystals. Bling bling baby!

We received a goodiebag with a VIP Shopping Card that gave us a 10% discount in some stores and a deck of cards that we had to hand in to receive goodies in the different stores like a Swarovski heart necklace, some delicious chocolate from Godiva, some samples from REN etc..

A quick interview for Belmodo.tv before we headed off to the stores. It’s actually harder than I thought, but really fun though! I’ll post the video as soon as it comes out.

The Belmodo team was filming/capturing our every move. There were camera’s everywhere. Now I know how a celebrity feels.

Kim and me being silly by taking pics of each other taking pics (silly humor, we haz it) while on or way to a healthy fast food lunch at Tibits.

Love this group picture of us! From left to right: Lisha & Nini, Elien, Kim and yours truly.

Anthropologie is one of the many stores we visited. I could’ve spent hours in this lovely shop, but unfortunately we didn’t have that much time. Love the plant-covered wall. And yes, they’re living plants. Amazing!

The whole point was to tweet what we we’re doing that day, but unfortunately due to bad wi-fi connections, we didn’t get to tweet that much. Luckily, they also took the #regenttweet tweets before the event into account and thanks to that, I won a goodiebag from The Organic Pharmacy at the end of the event! Yaaaay!

I bought some beautystuff of which I’ll post a shoplog + review later on. Unfortunately I didn’t get any clothes, since it was so warm to hit the changing rooms and it was also the first day of the sales in London, which equals major shopping chaos! Ah well, it just gives me a reason to go back. As in NOW pliz!

Hereby I want to thank Regent Street, Sister PR and Eurostar for giving me this amazing opportunity. Thanks to my fellow bloggers for the great company during this exciting trip!

Seems like you girls had a lot of fun! I love shopping in London! I was in London as well that day (for the Glee concert) and didn’t buy any clothes either (due to the hot weather).
