As you may (or may not) have noticed by my activity Twitter, I’m finally back among the living! I’ve been busy with group tasks and writing my paper, so I didn’t have much time to blog at all. I consider my little break as a good thing though. It gave me a little time to think about my blog, where I came from, where I am now and what my next step is going to be to take it to the next level. The outcome of it all? Well, you’re just going to have to wait and see! 😉 Need to finish some ‘older’ projects first..
Three weeks ago bloggergang (Hanne, Astrid, Kim and me) went on another wild roadtrip to the press days of Antwerp. Things didn’t go exactly as planned, we had to overcome quite some obstacles, but in the end we did manage to complete our list thanks to Kim’s driving skills and the tight schedule I had prepared. I’m not going to post all of my pictures, since the press days have been reviewed on countless blogs already. I’ll just post some random pics so you can have an impression of what autumn/winter 2011 is going to look like. Enjoy!
Love the collaboration between Fratelli Rossetti and fashion illustrator Rebecca Moses. She illustrated each shoe in a different city and yes, even Brussels is represented. My favorite pair are the black pumps with sequin bow.
Loved this metallic enveloppe handbag by TOV Essentials. It’s essential indeed..
More TOV Essentials.. Notice that we’re still not finished with the animale prints next season!
Lots of autumn forest colors at Benetton.. Watch my words, I’m predicting mustard yellow will be one of thé trend colors next season!
One of the most appealing brands in the NOW showroom was definitely Sisley. Young, fresh and fun! Love the combination of the black fake fur vest and the leather trousers with the metallic finish. I’m normally not much of a purple fan, but the twisted sleeves drew my attention. I’m all about the details.
Valentino or Lanvin x H&M lookalikes at Clarks.
A small selection of what will be available at New Yorker. I’ve already set my eyes on the American-style baseball jacket.
This little corner by SCAPA Home just screams cosiness.

MCS Marlboro Classics
Fun streetwear by Outfitters Nation.
Lovely accessories by Pieces to keep you warm during cold winter times. Especially love the knitted scarves you can pull over your head (can’t remember the exact name, anyone who knows?), I’m definitely getting one of those! Another thing you’ll be seeing a lot is a handbag with a fake fur tail keychain attached to it. I’ve already spotted it at H&M, Essentiel and now Pieces seems to have picked up the trend too.
Ethnic tunics, floral prints, denim and tons of darkwood colors at Vero Moda.
I love these pieces from Very by Vero Moda! That print, that asymmetric dress, and omg the blazer with cropped sleeves! Want! Need!
Now that suede jacket from Object is definitely a collectors item!
Fun tees, dresses, jackets, mustard yellow (again), feathers (I’ve come across a lot of feather-embellished pieces) and blazers (one can never have too many blazers) by Vila. I definitely must add the knit with ethnic print in the last pic to my wardrobe!
Well, thank you! What a warm welcome at Listen Up..
Pumps, booties and fur boots at Frida.
Love the ring with the deer antlers by Malice in Wonderland.
Fun tees by the Californian vintage-inspired knitwearbrand Wildfox.
Cute details at Ted Baker.
SuperTrash
Atos Lombardini
Fairly
Stylist favorite Ambre Babzoe, a brand I’d definitely see appearing in Gossip Girl.
Stylish minimalism we’re used to from COS.
Fun brand Eleven Paris. Their mustache celeb tees are simply the best!
That’s all for today, part II coming up soon!
Big thanks to NOW, Bestseller & Listen Up!
Denk dat dat okergeel zeker een trend gaat worden aangezien we die in véél collecties gezien hebben hé 😉
