Meet my new favorite pastel polishes by New York Color Cosmetics (NYC)! I’ve received these bittersweet shades a while ago and even though this summer is all about brights and neons, I just can’t get tired of them. These NYC Expert Last Nail Polishes go by the names of Mint Macaroon, Lavender Cupcake and Bubblegum Pink.
Only 2 layers are needed to obtain full coverage (I used three layers for the swatches though, since my nail wheel is transparent) and they last up to 5 days. I’m currently treating my nails so that they’ll become stronger, in the hopes of keeping my nail polish chip-free for a longer period of time. Once the treatment is over, maybe I’ll be able to keep them for 7 days as promised on the bottle. The thin brushes aren’t the easiest to work with, but I don’t really care. They’re just too cute – and cheap!
