First outfitpost of the year! Whoop whoop! I’m currently hitting the books, which causes some inactivity on my blog as you’ve probably already noticed. Nevertheless I decided to spend my studybreak well by shooting an outfit of the day. The pics were taken the day after that big storm came over Belgium, which explains why my hair is going in all places except where it should be. Well, in the pictures I selected it still looks kinda okay. In others I have more hair in my face than friggin’ Chewbacca. I like the wavy effect on my skirt though. :’)
I decided to keep it casual festive by wearing some of my latest purchases: the COS knot necklace, Zara bag and skirt and my precious YSL ring <3. I’ve been wanting to get the sequined clutch since it hit the stores in October (?), but 70 euros was a bit too much. I was so happy to be able to score it for only 20 during the sales. Aaah, the joy of patience that gets rewarded. 🙂 It’s a shopping strategy that often doesn’t have that much of a happy ending. But it does help me prevent impulse buys from time to time too.
My advice for when you’ve seen something you like is; try it on, but don’t buy it just yet. Wait a week or maybe a month (depending on the availability of the item) and if you still want to buy it, then you should just go for it! It will sayve you a lot of money and space in your closet, space you cannot use for other fabulous items you actually do wear.
