Remember Louise Roe from ‘The City‘? She didn’t get the job at Elle, but what she did get is a job as a host to a brand new fashion makeover show called ‘Plain Jane‘!
Don’t say “not another makeover series” too quickly. In this new reality series, Louise helps out plain girls to gain confidence with the help of a head-to-toe style transformation, including a new wardrobe and confidence-building exercises. Once the transformation is complete, the formerly Plain Jane is up for the ultimate challenge: surprising her unsuspecting crush with the new look and confessing her true feelings to him!
I’ve watched 3 episodes of this series so far and I have to say it’s fun and very heartwarming. Thank god there’s still room for some romance on TV! Louise does an incredible job with styling the girls and she’s so symphatetic and funny! Hey, it’s your loss Elle!
