Christian Louboutin did it again. He created a wonderful fall fairytale-like collection that makes fashionistas like me drool. Louboutin is known for his sky-high heels with red soles and the nice price tags that come with them. This collection offers some lovely (fake-fur) booties, sandals, pumps and peeptoes.
The story of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ was used as a source of inspiration for the ad campaign, which is called ‘Winter Tales’. The campaign features a magical world with bunny rabbits, birds, cards, hats, rats and butterflies. Hey, I wouldn’t mind being Alice if I got to wear those shoes!
I’m particularly fond of the black Venus booties, Lady Derby lace shoes, and the Lady Peeps. Ooh, and I love the spiked Very Mix and Pigalilis! Truth is, I can’t really choose! What are yours?
Even though Louboutin once said in an interview he’s not interested in an Jimmy Choo-like collaboration with H&M, I kind of really wish he would! I would be the first in line. So Mr. Louboutin, if you read this, please reconsider it! Merci beaucoup!

Christian Louboutin kreeg het weer al eens voor mekaar! Hij ontwierp een wondermooie feeërieke herfscollectie waarvan fashionistas als ik spontaan van beginnen te kwijlen. Louboutin staat vooral bekend om zijn torenhoge hakken met rode zolen en de dure prijskaartjes die eraan vastkleven. Deze collectie bevat enkele mooie enkellaarsjes (met nepbont), sandalen, pumps en peeptoes.
Alice in Wonderland was duidelijk een inspiratiebron voor de campagne, die ‘Winter Tales’ werd gedoopt. De campagne toont een magische wereld met konijnen, vogels, kaarten, hoeden, ratten en vlinders. Hey, ik zou het niet erg vinden om Alice te zijn mocht ik die schoenen hebben!
