Leuven welcomes Filippa K

Last Thursday, Leuven added another store to its list of hotspots. The Scandinavian brand Filippa K opened a cosy boutique of 100 m² on the corner of the Brusselsestraat and the Grote Markt, a prime location right in the center of Leuven.

Filippa K is best known for it’s simplicity, quality and style. The shop offers clothing for both men and women, which is always a plus. Their strategy is to make life easier by offering them comfortable and stylish clothing that fits their busy life. Clothing you can wear both to a meeting and a cocktail party. Filippa K is really all about quality basics (blazers, shirts, tops and tees with loose silhouettes and in the most comfy fabrics), which are definitely worth the investment if you ask me, since the style combinations are simply endless. Stylish + comfy is the combo you’ll want to go for!

The new store is part of the new shoppingconcept that focuses on interaction with the customer. Filippa K opted for a mix of cedar, concrete and reflective surfaces and sober, but elegant furniture. This approach makes the store look just as attractive and stylish as its clothing.

This new Filippa K store won’t be the last one we see of the brand, since they’re planning to double the number of stores by 2014 in order to make the brand more accessible. I can only cheer them on.
