Heimish All Clean Balm

heimish all clean balm

As I’m scraping the last bits out of my tub, I thought it is about time for a review of the infamous Heimish All Clean Balm! This oil-based sherbet cleansing balm is the first step in my double cleansing routine for a while now. Supposedly this was made by the same people who worked on the Banila Co Clean It Zero cleansing balm, which I also love. This one however has better ingredients for your skin as it uses botanical extracts rather than mineral oil. It contains a blend of shea butter, donkey milk, coconut oil and various essential oils. It doesn’t have any added fragrances, but you will smell the natural scent of the essential oils, which I’m not really a fan of to be honest. Luckily it’s not that strong and I still enjoy using it on a daily basis. After a while you do get used to it I guess.

First off let me just start by saying Heimish packaging = goals. Pinks, rose gold, contemporary font, gorgeous prints.. what else do you need? The rose gold details have rubbed off a little when I got this but oh well.. I managed.

The Heimish All Clean Balm has all of the benefits of a cleansing oil but without the dripping mess. Just scoop out about a pea size with the spatula it comes with, gently rub it in your hands so it becomes an oil and start massaging your face. Add a little bit of water to turn it into a milky lather and then rinse off. Done. No more excuses for not taking your makeup off before bed because this literally only takes a minute and is super gentle for your skin! What I will also say is that it might give you a bit of a blurry vision when you get it in your eyes, but it doesn’t sting, which is good. Especially if you work with waterproof mascaras a lot. Afterwards your skin feels smooth, clean and balanced and free of all of the makeup, sunscreen, sebum and dirt. Your pores will thank you.

Overall I definitely would recommend this one over the Banila Co since it has better ingredients (especially those with sensitive skin). I also find that it works a bit better than the Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm. I’m definitely excited to try more of this Korean brand!
