Hi guys, I just got back from the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M pre-launch shopping event and it was UH-MAY-ZING. To avoid traffic jams and other inconvenient obstacles I decided to leave early, which made me first to line up at the press queue. Maïté, who won the +1 spot, quickly joined me as we set off for a killer shopping spree.
I’m not gonna lie, it was still a bit hectic, especially for the people who arrived a bit later and were desperately seeking for pieces others left behind. You can probably tell; a lot of stuff sold out quickly. And mostly thanks to Maïté. I mean, look at all the bags she’s got, it’s crazy! I’m so happy to have had her as my shopper-in-crime and I’m happy she was able to get most of the pieces she wanted. 🙂
Good luck to all of you who are going to queue! A little tip for those who are going to queue in a couple of hours; go for the accessories first (shoes and bags). They were gone before I even knew what was happening. But above all, stay calm and don’t fight. They’re only clothes.

Ik ben verzot op de jurk, maar uiteindelijk toch laten liggen omdat ik niet weet wnr ik die zou dragen. Als ie er in de solden nog ligt, dan koop ik ‘m 🙂

THANK YOU Sté for this AMAAAAZING shopping experience and thank you random.org for picking me! It was so great to not have to queue and to finally have the time to try something on and assess it (instead of trying it on during the 15 minutes you get). I could surely get used to this VIP treatment 🙂 and am volunteering to accompany Sté at the next designer sale 😉

Lucky you, ik stond er van ‘s morgens vroeg, maar al bij al een toffe MMM for H&M adventure. Ik ben ook direct op de clutch en schoenen gevlogen.

Ik was ook eerst aan het twijfelen, maar ik had net mijn rijbewijs dus ik dacht ‘ach een klein kadootje voor mezelf kan geen kwaad!’ 😀 hoewel het inderdaad maar voor bepaalde gelegenheden geschikt is!
