I thought it was about time that I gave my accessorycloset an update. What you see in the pictures is a result. I couldn’t resist to buy some clothes that crossed my path along the way. Believe me, I tried.

Anyway, I have been so obsessed over hats lately! I always loved them on others but I’ve never bought one before. When I stumbled upon the H&M straw fedora hat, I just knew I had to buy it. I just HAD TO! It has a cute little bow in the black band too (bows, another obsession of mine). And then one hat became two. I imagined how great the floppy hat would look with the bamboo handle bag I bought, when walking alongside the beach. And there you have it, from no hats at al to 2 great summer pieces! Animal prints are totally hot this summer, so I bought the studded reptile shoulderbag and the brown sunglasses. I love the print on that bag! It’s very small, so I also use it as a clutch. It’s also a bag that can be worn during the winter. I also bought another pair of aviator sunglasses. I just love the coolness of an aviator look.
Remember those studded sandals? Yep, that’s right! They’re the Jimmy Choo lookalikes I posted a while ago. They actually look really glamorous, almost like the real Jimmy Choos. By the way, did I mention I just looove studs?
I’ve never been much of a gold fan, but I have to admit, the golden bracelets (or any golden accessories) look absolutely fabulous with the marine look.

The boyfriend blazertrend is on fire right now. Although I have quite a few blazers already, I still bought this one because of the striped details inside. I thought te golden anchor buttons fit in the marine theme as well. You can wear the boyfriend blazer 2 ways. For formal occasions, just wear the blazer as it is. Roll up your sleeves to make your look more casual and fun.
The biker jacket can also be worn to create multiple looks. Combining it with a casual T-shirt, a pair of jeans and the aviator sunglasses will create a tough, cool streetlook. If you wear it with a feminine top and skirt like the pale pink one above (it’s not very clear on the picture) and a pair of high-heeled sandals or the black Zara booties, the look will turn out sexy.

Toen ik op de strooien fedora hoed van H&M stuitte, moest ik hem gewoon kopen! Het MOEST gewoon! Het heeft ook zo’n schattig strikje in de zwarte band (strikjes, nog zo’n obsessie van me). En toen ging ik van 1 hoed plots naar 2. Ik beeldde me in hoe goed de floppy hoed zou staan met de tas met de hanvaten van bamboe, die ik al had gekocht, terwijl ik langs het strand wandel. En daar heb je het, van geen enkele hoed tot 2 geweldige zomerstukken! (Lees ook het artikel over strooien accessoires!)
Dierenprints zijn helemaal hot deze zomer, dus kocht ik de schoudertas met reptielenprint en studs en de bruine zonnebril. Wat hou ik van de print van die tas! Hij is bovendien erg klein, dus gebruik ik hem ook als clutch. Het is ook een tas die je kunt doordragen in de winter. Ik kocht ook nog een pilotenbril. (Ik had er al één van Ray-Ban in bruine versie.) Ik hou van die coole look die een pilootbril uitstraalt.
Herinner je de sandalen met studs? Ja, dat klopt! Het zijn de Jimmy Choo lookalikes waarover ik een tijdje geleden postte. Ze zien er echt heel glamoureus uit, bijna net zoals de echte Jimmy Choos. Heb ik overigens al gezegd dat ik ontzettend van studs hou?
Ik ben nooit echt een fan van goud geweest, al moet ik toegeven dat de gouden armbanden (of eender welke gouden accessoires) er fantastisch uitzien bij de marine look?
De boyfriend blazertrend is helemaal het van het. Alhoewel ik al enkele blazers heb, kocht ik toch deze omwille van zijn gestreepte voering. Ik vond de gouden ankerknopen ook super bij het marinethema passen. Je kunt de boyfriend blazer op 2 manieren dragen. Voor formele gelegenheden draag je de blazer gewoon zoals hij is. Rol je de mouwen wat op, dan krijg je een casual look die fun uitstraalt.
Ook met de lederen bikerjas kun je meerdere looks creëren. Combineer het met een casual T-shirt, een jeans en de pilootbril voor een stoere, coole streetlook. Draag je het met een vrouwelijk topje en rok zoals de bleekroze hierboven (het is niet echt duidelijk op de foto) en een paar sandalen met hoge hakken of de zwarte Zara enkellaarsjes, dan krijg je een zeer sexy look.
