Beauty SOS: Batiste Dry Shampoo

Do you ever have one of those days where you’re in a hurry and/or your hair is a little too greasy to be comfortable but not greasy enough to wash it? I certainly do. Especially with bangs, I find that they always get oilier much faster than the rest of my hair. So what to do when that moment occurs? The answer is simple.. good old dry shampoo. This product has been on the market for years and years only the formula’s now are much better than they used to be. You might have to try a few brands before you find the one that fits you best, but for me these cans from Batiste have been my morning heroes ever since I first tried them after a trip to London last year.

They make it sound really simple and that’s because it really is. Shake. Spray. Massage. Style & Go. I mostly use them to battle oiliness, but they can add some life and volume to your hair as well, especially the XXL Volume, who is specifically developed for that purpose. My favourites however are the fruity & cheeky Cherry dry shampoo because of its amazing scent and the hint of colour Medium & Brunette dry shampoo, because this one gives me the opportunity to spray like crazy when I’m really in a hurry without having to worry for a white cast on my hair since the product itself is brown. Brilliant!

// Heb je ook wel eens van die dagen waarop je gehaast bent en/of je haar net iets te vettig is om op je gemak te zijn en ook net iets te weinig om meteen te wassen? Ik alvast wel. Zeker met een pony durft net dat deel veel sneller vettig worden dan de rest van mijn haar. En wat moet je dan? Het antwoord is heel simpel.. die goeie ouwe droogshampoo bovenhalen! Droogshampoo bestaat echt al heel lang maar gelukkig voor ons zijn de formules er heel wat op verbeterd en hoef je je meestal geen zorgen te maken om die witte waas in je haar. Het is even zoeken naar de perfecte droogshampoo, maar ik heb met Batiste enkele goeie opties gevonden nadat ik er vorig jaar enkele meenam uit Londen.

Batiste droogshampoo is heel makkelijk te gebruiken. Even schudden, sprayen (vanop enige afstand), incasseren, stylen en klaar! Ik gebruik ze vooral om het vettig gevoel tegen te gaan maar ze doen je haar er ook wel wat levendiger uitzien door wat volume aan je wortels te geven. Mijn favorieten uit het gamma zijn zonder twijfel de fruity & cheeky Cherry droogshampoo omwille van zijn lekker zoete kersengeur en de a hint of colour Medium & Brunette droogshampoo, aangezien ik deze door zijn bruine kleur ten volle kan sprayen wanneer ik even gehaast ben en zelfs de tijd niet heb om alles goed in te masseren. Geweldig!
